tea party

DEC 4 - 31

As a regular contributor to the festive spirit market we are excited to announce we have put together a holiday spirit starter-pack, baked the star on top of your tree, and curated the Ultimate Holiday Gift Guide, aka the WHTR Holiday Tea Party!

Indulge with us on a delectable feast of Holiday Flavours, with a capital F, for over*flow* of classic Cheer and Delight! And what’s even better than that? In the spirit of sharing, we’d love to contribute to your Cheering and Delighting for the crew you love with a miniature buffet featuring 15-festive morsels (per person) that moonlights as the 15-handpicked artisanal Gift Guide For Everyone on Your List!

___________

BOTTOM TIER

 ~ the warm up ~

Gingerbread molasses & walnut scones with maple icing: the same rare satisfaction which comes from building a seventh-grade gingerbread house without the hassle of actually building it.

OR!

A scone which tastes like December in Hawaii? Ba da bing, ba da boom - the cranberry & orange scone.

Chicken curry custados - a festive ornament for your mouth made of curried chicken stuffed into a toasty shell.

MIDDLE TIER

~the whole festive dinner ~

Egg salad pinwheel tea sandwiches with enough cracked pepper & seasoning to jump start the feast.

Chicken, mint, red pepper jelly pinwheel tea sandwiches: it’s your Official Holiday Chicken Dinner on upgrade with mint and red pepper jelly, made even more pinterest-bookmark worthy by the crafty transformation into bite (more like three) sized pinwheels.

Sweet potato biscuit with ham and honey - a trio which becomes its best self when they come together.

TOP TIER

~ the twilight holiday disco hour ~

Dark chocolate candy-cane peppermint cake that tastes like @MollyYeh meets #Elvis!

Nostalgic confections aptly named Melting Moments: custard shortbread sandwiching vanilla buttercream with a whimsical

drizzle of chocolate that personifies your Spotify Holiday Mariah Carey playlist.

Raspberry & Hazelnut crumble bar is the express lane at the holiday spirit station; these will fill you up on holiday cheer more effectively (and tastier) than a balloon full of glitter.

Alternative conclusion to the Christmas Miracle on 34th Street: the spirit of the holidays is actually condensed in edible form of a mini eggnog tart.

Mini Tourtiere pastry with homemade chutney - doubles as the mascot on the French Canadian holiday flagpole.

When smoked salmon and cream cheese weren’t enough to say “boom shaka laka” we whipped them into a frenzied mousse and piped them into buttery, layered phyllo cups. Whipped salmon mousse phyllo cups.

What looks like a simple, straight forward dessert is actually a clever disguise of minimalism for maximalists! On the contrary, this panna cotta is a sophisticated balance of creamy pudding with a zinging citrus berry compote!
