It is our very great pleasure to welcome you to our tea room. Here at the White Heather, we are proud to provide an authentic afternoon tea experience that has been a continued tradition for 24 years.

We often hear from our guests how delighted they are with the quality and freshness of our food. We work hard to maintain this reputation. All of our food is prepared in-house, and daily baking ensures freshness.Our afternoon teas offer a delicious selection of scones, tea sandwiches and other savory treats together with a selection of Le Cordon Bleu level pastries.

From the beginning, we have sought authenticity and pure delight in our high tea. Our story starts at the turn of the century with Agnes Campbell, the woman with an unforgettable touch to Oak Bay. Known for her kindness and laughter, she brought her Scottish heritage to high tea. She still visits and is involved in the tea room to this day. Her intention of heart-to-heart interactions has continued through each and every person who followed.

Our story thrives off sincerity and good food. Every tiered service of high tea brings a certain warmth to the tearoom. We have made wonderful friendships and memories and continue to build relationships. Many of our splendid teacups come from these good people, and it is always a delight when someone happens to sit at a table with their old teacup.

Allow us to bring you into this new chapter of our story. To all of our patrons who have been with us since the beginning and those just coming, we raise our teacups to you in gratitude.
